Side Eye Chloe Meme Template

A questionable claim. A very unconvinced look. Use the Chloe side-eye image when something does not quite add up.

Three ways to use this reaction

The spreadsheet surprise: “Just one quick question.” *opens a spreadsheet*

The spreadsheet surprise

The word “quick” sets an expectation that the spreadsheet immediately breaks. Chloe supplies the doubt without another punchline.

The impossible delivery update: “Your delivery is arriving now.” The driver: across town.

The impossible delivery update

A precise contradiction makes the reaction easy to understand: the app says now, but the driver is nowhere near you.

The sudden teammate: Presentation day: Suddenly it is “our” project.

The sudden teammate

The switch from individual work to “our” project gives the stare a recognizable target: last-minute shared credit.

Which side-eye meme is this?

This template shows Chloe sitting in a car seat. It is one member of the wider side-eye reaction family, alongside animal reactions and other characters. The “bombastic side eye” sound is a separate audio format; this template does not include that sound. The still image works especially well for restrained disbelief: you have heard the claim, but you are not quite buying it.

Give the look something specific to question

Write the claim first, then include one detail that makes it questionable. “Arriving now” becomes funnier when the driver is still across town; “a quick question” needs the unexpectedly large spreadsheet. Avoid explaining that you are suspicious afterward—the expression already does that work. For a gentler joke, aim at an everyday contradiction instead of accusing a particular person of lying.

Choose doubt, not an outright refusal

Chloe leaves room for uncertainty. If the answer is a firm no, the Bugs Bunny No template gives a clearer response. If you are simply speechless, try two-eyed Mike Wazowski. These choices change the tone even when the setup stays the same.

Make your own version

  1. Open the template. The editor loads the source image and an editable caption layer.
  2. Replace the caption. Keep Chloe’s eyes and face visible. The caption belongs above the image, so the look can deliver the response.
  3. Preview and export. Read the caption at normal speed, then download the five-second MP4. The source picture remains still.

You can replace the source image or reset the caption. Projects save locally in this browser; export a copy before clearing browser data. Drafts do not sync across devices.

Source and format notes

The family video “Lily’s Disneyland Surprise....AGAIN!” is the source footage. Know Your Meme’s Chloe entry traces it to September 2013 and documents later reaction-image use. The captions shown here are original examples, not quotes from the video.
