Three ways to use this reaction
The bakery markdown
The discounted snack provides a clear reward. The pose supplies the eagerness to claim it.
Fries for everyone
A casual suggestion becomes exciting when it involves your favorite shared food.
The unexpected lunch break
The canceled meeting creates an immediate opportunity: a little more time for lunch.
Who is the man by the tree?
The pictured man is Anthony “Spice” Adams, the former professional football player and entertainer. His yellow outfit, position by the tree and hand-rubbing gesture identify this version. Cartoon villains, emoji and anime hand-rubbing reactions are other formats; this page uses the Adams photograph.
Start with a tempting trigger
The caption needs something worth getting excited about: a snack, a sale or a small unexpected benefit. The useful pattern is “me when [opportunity appears].” It is more specific than simply writing “excited,” and it gives the gesture a reason. Let the reader discover the reward in the caption, then recognize the enthusiasm in the image.
Keep the mischievous tone playful
The same pose can look eager or scheming depending on the setup. Food, canceled meetings and harmless bargains keep the joke light. Avoid making someone else’s loss or distress the reward. If nothing good is about to happen and the main point is the delay, Mr Bean waiting is a closer fit. To reject the temptation instead, turn to Bugs Bunny No.
Make your own version
- Open the template. The editor loads the source image and an editable caption layer.
- Replace the caption. Keep the hands and face unobscured. The tall composition preserves the source photograph rather than stretching it to a square.
- Preview and export. Read the caption at normal speed, then download the five-second MP4. The source picture remains still.
You can replace the source image or reset the caption. Projects save locally in this browser; export a copy before clearing browser data. Drafts do not sync across devices.
Source and format notes
Know Your Meme traces the photograph to Adams’s December 2017 “The Love Story of Leon Lemons” posts and documents later reaction use. This is an attributed archive account, not an independently verified first-meme claim. Kapwing’s template provides another reference for the pictured format.
